This website states the following, "Surname, unlike many others, has a fairly well established origin." We viewed that the web page said " Although there is some question as to who was the First Blair, it is generally accepted that he was an heir of Jean Francois, a Norman, granted Barony of Blare by King William, between 1165 and 1200." It also said " I assume a study of the Clan Blair Society might show similar results. What we have is a very large puzzle with a lot of pieces missing." The header had Blair as the highest ranking search term. It is followed by Genealogy, DNA, and Blair Genealogy which isn't as ranked as highly as Blair. The next words they uses is Blair DNA. General Info, Class Photos and Student Work. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Saying good-bye to the Blair Library! This will be my final blog post on the Blair Library blog. I have so enjoyed being the Teacher-Librarian and being part of the Blair community. I have accepted a new job at the school board office which will allow me to work with students and teachers all over Richmond. I am looking forward to visiting Blair in my new role! Her comment made my heart sing as this is.
